Introducing ACME’s Newest Program

Introducing ACME Cares!
Last year we spent much time evaluating our efforts within our local community. As a company we are drawn to the youth of our community, they are the future, and we believe strongly in supporting them. We evaluated how we could grow, where we could have maximum impact, and how we could aid in supporting our team as part of the process. All of that evaluation led us to the creation of ACME Cares and an incredible partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest (BBBS).
ACME Cares is the community outreach extension of ACME, and our mission is to support the youth of our community by coming alongside BBBS as an active partner in order to aid in growing their impact and supporting their mission. We stand behind and believe strongly in their mission, “For children facing adversity, Big Brothers Big Sisters builds bonds to change lives, enabling kids to reach their greatest potential through strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships and a network of support.”
As we move into 2019 we have big plans to walk side by side with BBBS and aid in supporting their efforts. First up, we are kicking off National Mentoring Month by prepping for their Big Hero Gala on Saturday, February 9. We are honored and thrilled to be partnering with them again this year by providing event production and fabrication for their event. The Big Hero Gala is their biggest annual fundraiser in support of their organization and their efforts to mentor children facing adversity. To learn more, visit itsbigtime.org.
ACME Cares will also continue to look for additional opportunities that support and equip the youth of our community. This includes our continued partnership with Hacienda CDC for our annual holiday children’s clothing drive. The items we collect go directly to the children Hacienda CDC serves in their after-school program within our local Cully neighborhood.
We couldn’t be more excited to be joining in the efforts of supporting the youth of our community!
Cheers to 2019!
