A Time to Give Back

At ACME, something we love about the holidays is the opportunity to spread cheer and give back to our local community! We partnered again this year with our neighbors in NE Portland, the local non-profit Hacienda CDC, through a children’s winter clothing drive hosted at our offices throughout the holiday season.

Hacienda CDC is a Latino Community Development Corporation that strengthens families by providing affordable housing, homeownership support, economic advancement, and educational opportunities. Recently featured on this year’s Willamette Week Gift Guide, they provided statistics for the impact they’ve had on the Cully neighborhood. Hacienda CDC provides homes for more than 1,600 individuals with low incomes, assists an additional 1,500 households in purchasing or retaining their home, mentors more than 400 youth, and supports 75+ small businesses annually. We are thankful for the incredible generosity that our team displayed again this year with the immense amount of items that were delivered to our office. We know these winter clothes and accessories will have a great impact to those in need. It was an honor and a privilege to partner with them and to bring smiles to the faces of children within our community.
